Hello and Merry Christmas to all my customers!
Well, since I last wrote to you we have moved out of the bricks and mortar shop at 114 Portland Road, and now trading locally. It was a real physical effort to get everything out in time for Simon to move in. The shop at 114 Portland Road, is now a Carpet and Flooring shop selling super products – worth a visit if you’re shopping for new floor coverings. I wish Simon every success in his new business expansion. So, if you still wish to continue to shop and train with us, Bits & Bobs you can:
- Phone or email me with your requirements and we can discuss. So if you need something give me a quick call, or text or email and I will find you what we have a chat and take it from there. I have recently been delivering to my regular customer direct or meeting at The Veteran’s Hub Café (at the back of 114 Portland Road shop) where we can have a quick chat and coffee.
- Visit our Website: https://www.bitsandbobscrafts.co.uk/ (cut and paste this link into your browser). There’s not a huge amount of stock on the website just yet, however I aim to improve the stock offering during 2020, see other improvements below. Still to list for sale, are all the Haberdashery items eg threads, ribbons, buttons, Velcro, elastic lace, etc etc. These items are available for sale.
- Visit our electronic shop on Amazon.co.uk craft-e (our alternative business name): https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?me=A2DVEI2I5X55LZ&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P I have a lot of diverse stock to sell and it has been a marathon trying to get it listed for sale as quickly as possible, some stock boxes still to go!!
- Visit us on Facebook – from time to time I message and update my followers on what’s happening so please feel free to join both Bits & Bobs and Craft-e groups on Facebook (Almost 1000 people follow this group).
The business website will be undergoing a review in January and February 2020, so you may see some small disruption whilst this is taking place. Please bear with us during this time, we will still be selling.
2020 will also see new on-line training sessions available for you to download and if you would like a private lesson, then again contact me to arrange. There will be a catalogue list of all the different and various courses that I run, some of them can be brought to you at home if you prefer. (I have Public Liability Insurance for just these events. So we’re all covered and happy!)
Anyone who has still got Bits & Bobs Gift Tokens then please note they officially expire at the end of this month, however I can continue to take them in part payment up to end of January 2020.
Lastly, but not least, I would like to thank you all for being such lovely customers and loyal to my business. I enjoyed being at the shop, but now have a little more time (in theory), for Steve and I to take a few days holiday and be with the family.
Have a lovely Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.
Keeping the knowledge alive!
